Therapeutic Approach

I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you.

I combine practical strategies with a compassionate space to explore your experiences, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we also consider the wider influences, such as family, culture, and identity, that have shaped your story.

Above all, I place strong importance on the therapeutic relationship. Research consistently shows that the connection between therapist and client is one of the most important factors in meaningful change. I see therapy as a collaborative process, not something done to you, but something we think about and work through together.

It’s also important to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. Just as in life, there are people we naturally feel at ease with and others we don’t. That doesn’t mean anyone is “wrong”, simply that the right fit matters. I actively encourage people to pay attention to this.

Therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be open, and when there is a sense of mutual respect and connection.
